AWH has a large machine shop and fabrication shop including some of the largest machines of their type in Australia. The fabrication shop has built structures including mine headframes, loading stations, mine shaft stages, dam arc gates and many other structures. The machine shop has machined many mine winder drums, fan impellors, end sections for pressure vessels, and others. We have a large stress relieving furnace capable of temperatures of up to 1200 oC.
