Established in 1974, AWH is an Australian family owned and operated business. Located in Smithfield in Sydney’s Western Suburbs in a modern 7,800sqm purpose built facility AWH has grown and diversified over the past 40 years to become recognised as one of Australia’s premier providers of heavy engineering products and services.
We have successfully completed many diverse projects in the mining, marine, construction and heavy engineering fields, including our most high profile project to date, the design and build of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Cauldron.
Our talent pool is diverse; it includes project managers, engineers (hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical), equipment managers, fitters and machinist personnel. Our people apply their experience to the safe and efficient operation of our workshop and equipment.
With a comprehensive range of winch and winder equipment that have been designed and engineered by professional industry specialists, and built utilising our in-house technical skills and facilities complemented by the many years of practical experience.
